Current STAR Chapter Society Scholarships:
1) "Started From The Bottom Scholarship" AWARDED... DO NOT APPLY
Donor(s) By Juan & Kimberly Bailey
Amount: $2,000
Class: Freshman thru Senior
GPA: 2.8 for Sophomore thru Senior and 3.0 for incoming Freshman
Essay: Share a "short story" of where you started from to where you are today.
Application Process:
Submit your transcript and short story essay on September 30th. Send your information and the name of the scholarship that you are applying for to: csucincyalum@gmail.com. Scholarship to be awarded in the month of October.
2) "Generation Hope Childcare and Preschool Scholarship"
Donor(s) By Mr. & Mrs. Johnson and Mrs. April Barker-Casey
Amount: $2,000
Class: Freshman thru Senior
Criteria: Share any current community Service Project experience that you are involved with or submit a Business Plan for an idea of your own or share a short story of your choice.
GPA: 2.5
Application Process:
Submit your transcript, along with either an essay or one of the criteria options on September 30th. Send your information and the name of the scholarship that you are applying for to: csucincyalum@gmail.com. Scholarship to be awarded in the month of October.
3) "Phill and Monica Black Business Scholarship"

Amount: $2,000
Class: Sophomore thru Senior majoring in Business
GPA: 2.8 and above
Essay: Share a "short story" of your background, career goals, aspirations and why you should be awarded this scholarship.
Application Process:
Submit your transcript, essay and the name of the scholarship that you are applying for to: csucincyalum@gmail.com. Scholarship can be awarded at anytime throughout the school year.
4) "The Everett Moore Scholarship for the Arts"

Criteria: Student must be a member of the CSU Chorus
Class: Sophomore thru Senior majoring in Business
GPA: 2.5 and above
Essay: Not required, but we encourage you to speak about your background, career goals and aspirations.

5) "Frazier Homes Careers in Construction Scholarship"

Amount: $2,000
Criteria: Community Service geared toward the Black, Indigenous, and people of color (BIPOC) Community.
Class: Sophomore thru Senior majoring in Construction Mgmt., Civil Engineering, College of Engineering Science Technology
GPA: 3.2 and above
Essay: Not required, but we encourage you to speak about your background, career goals and aspirations.

6) "Kelly-Bowden Athletic Scholarship"

Criteria: The student is required to use their academic knowledge base (coursework, life’s experiences & ingenuity) to present their artistic and creative expressions. Those artistic and creative expressions can come in the following forms that can assessed versus other applicants, such as, (1.) a Business or Marketing Plan, (2.) A proposal to manufacture a product or idea by an engineering major or (3.) a music or drama videos from an Arts major or finally, (4.) for other students to document their ideas for solving vital challenges impacting our world today.
Class: This scholarship is open to men, women and freshman.
GPA: 2.5 and above
